Victor Moses named Nigeria Men’s footballer for the year 2017
Super Eagles star Victor Moses has been named Nigeria Men’s Footballer of the Year at the sixth edition of the 2017 Nigerian Sports Award.
Moses, 26, beat off competition from FC Zurich striker Stephen Odey and Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu to win the award.
The awards ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall, Eko Hotel, Lagos on Friday.
The former Wigan Athletic is also in the running for the 2017 BBC African Footballer of the Year and the 2017 CAF African Footballer of the Year.
Moses was instrumental for the Super Eagles during the World Cup qualifier as they have booked a ticket for Russia 2018 World Cup.
