Rangers appoint Gbenga Ogunbote as head coach

Rangers International appoint former Enyimba head coach Gbenga Ogunbote


Nigeria Profesional Football League side Rangers International have confirmed the appointment of Gbenga Ogunbote as their new coach ahead of new season.

Ogunbote, who guided Eyinmba to third place last season, was unveiled to the public at the state house in Enugu before the governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The Enugu based club also confirmed the appointment of former Rangers and Sharks striker Davidson Owumi as their general manager with Festus Onu as chairman.

The state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, urged the newly appointed official to work as a team in order to achieve their desired goal.

“I charge you both to work together and bring this team which is the pride of the southeast and Nigeria back to winning ways which I know is very possible with cooperation from both parties,” the Enugu State governor told the new club officials following the ceremony to officially unveiled them to the public.
