Mesut Ozil signs new deal with Arsenal until 2021
Mesut Ozil has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract to remain at Arsenal until the summer of 2021, according to BBC.
Ozil, 29, has agreed a new £350,000-a-week deal after months of negotiations between Arsenal and the Germany midfielder’s representatives.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has made 21 appearances this term, scoring four goals and recording six assists, and his new deal commits him to the Premier League club until he is 32.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said earlier this month he was confident that Ozil would re-sign and he would stay at the Emirates.
