Liverpool have agreed a £142m deal with Barcelona for Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to multiple reports.
Coutinho, who was heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou in the summer, is expected to land in the Catalan capital on Saturday night to complete his medical.
Multiple reports in both Spain and England suggest the two clubs have agreed a fee of £142 million (€160m, $192.7m), with Liverpool receiving £105m up-front and the rest in add-ons.
That figure would make Coutinho the second-most expensive player in world football, behind Neymar, who left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
The news comes just days after Liverpool broke the transfer record for a defender when they bought Virgil van Dijk from Southampton for £75m.
